Dos and Don'ts

Do

  • ✓Always reconstitute with bacteriostatic water (BAC water) for shelf life up to 30 days refrigerated.
  • ✓Store reconstituted peptides refrigerated at 2-8°C and away from direct light.
  • ✓Swirl the vial gently to mix - never shake.
  • ✓Use a new needle for each injection and rotate injection sites.
  • ✓Note the reconstitution date on the vial.

Don't

  • ✗Use tap water, saline, or sterile water - they reduce shelf life significantly.
  • ✗Use if the solution appears cloudy, discoloured, or has visible particles.
  • ✗Leave reconstituted peptides at room temperature for extended periods.
  • ✗Reuse needles or syringes.
  • ✗Exceed recommended doses - more is not always better in peptide research.
